Cathy works for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Laffey International Realty. BHHS has a large network of buyers and sellers with 16 offices across Long Island and Brooklyn and over 600 agents. BHHS is a global company that advertises worldwide for interest in international buyers. After growing up on Long Island and working in Manhattan for 15 years, she is familiar with all areas spanning from NYC to Montauk. Her family includes generations of builders that influences her passion for real estate today. After starting her career as a Graphic Designer and graduating to Director of Product Development for a textile manufacturer, she has acquired many communication and negotiating skills that benefit transactional sales. She worked with overseas partners, buyers and salespeople on pricing, timing, compliance and quality control for business in mass, mid-tier and high-end luxury stores. Her friendly demeanor supports the needs & wants of the client, making buying or selling your home an enjoyable experience. She recently held the position of VP of Marketing for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices where she built partnerships & relationships with high end Luxury Brands & organized and planned cross-branded events at Luxury properties/ estates for sale. Not only did this help agents market their properties to the right clientele, it also included brand exposure through multiple social media platforms for all partners. She currently resides in Garden City, Long Island NY and operates her own marketing and branding company named Design House, keeping her love for design. A range of field experience, expertise in technology & marketing are key when communicating & negotiating with homeowners & potential buyers on the most important purchase in a lifetime- their forever home.
